Hello! I'm trying to kick my social media habits (from my phone), but am in a position where I still need them/find them useful occasionally.
From a programing/interface perspective, if there was a way to add apps to a "shock list" or whatever you'd want to call it, I could add things like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to that list, and have the Pavlok shock me every time I open them, that way I only use them when I have a purpose, instead of just habitually opening them for no reason.
This could also be used to break many other bad habits that people have. For example, people that are addicted to their mobile games, people that check their cryptocurrency/stocks habitually, people that find themselves doomscrolling far too often, etc.
